The best results are achieved with "flat" sheened paints such as Old Village Buttermilk paints.

Usage: Apply the crackle with a brush and allow it to dry. Then coat it with a layer of paint. The paint will crack immediately to reveal the base color. The base color can be stained wood or an alternative paint color.
