In 1998 we opened Main Street Trading Company (now The Period House) in the quaint town of Milford, Ohio, which is inside the Cincinnati beltway.

Specializing in the very finest craftsmanship centered around 18th & 19th century Decorative Arts, Furniture, Lighting, and useful home accessories including dinnerware and linens.

Within a few years, we outgrew our 1826 brick Georgian and moved our shop a few buildings down the street into a beautiful Greek Revival complete with large doric columns, wainscoat walls, and spectacular multi-light windows. At that time, we renamed the store to The Period House.
