Our 16" long stem clay tavern pipe is a reproduction of original tavern pipes used in 18th century Williamsburg, Virginia. Tavern pipes were stored in a wall-mounted tavern pipe box and shared among patrons. To ensure a clean pipe stem, the tip of the pipe was trimmed so as to not transfer anything foul from one user to the next. Made in USA
